MUTHALAND is a funny, poignant, and courageous play based on a true story about the life of a young woman forever changed on a trip to India where she ultimately discovers her voice within a culture of silence. This dark comedy is about love, family, culture, identity, spirituality, betrayal and transformation.

Minita Gandhi represents a new voice in American theater. She takes us on an epic journey of a coming of age first-generation Indian-American female. MUTHALAND had its world premier in Chicago and has riveted audiences from coast to coast.

Each show will feature a talkback with writer and actor, Minita Gandhi, facilitated by Jane Vogel.

The performances are Thursday and Friday April 18 and 19 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday matinee April 20 at 2:00 pm.
